All of AROM.'s jewelry collections have names based on Italian verbs.
It may be a slightly unusual name, but it embodies the brand's starting point and my own thoughts about production.
The brand was launched in Italy.
The time I spent touching materials, exploring shapes, and searching for my own way of expression has become the foundation of my current craftsmanship.
I would even say that half of my identity is in Italy.
My decision to use a verb in the collection name is an extension of this.
Verbs are words that express movement.
In addition, Italian verbs have regular endings such as -are, -ere, and -ire, which sound beautiful and give the impression of being somewhat neat.
It is very important to me to be able to feel a comfortable rhythm and lingering impression even in the choice of words.
My jewelry designs rarely start with a clear theme or phrase.
First, a vague image floats to mind, and then it gradually takes shape.
I'm not good at putting things into words, but when I look at the final piece, I ask myself, "What kind of movement is this?" and search for words.
Through verbs, we imbue the jewelry with a sense of “quiet movement.”
The collection was named with this thought in mind.
The names attached to collection pages and product pages also have this background.
I hope you will take note of these small words along with the artwork.
