ABOUT US
ORIGIN
AROM. was born in Milan.
While I was watching people's fashion in Milan, what made a strong impression on me was how well people incorporated jewelry into their outfits. Even with a simple outfit, just adding a piece around the ear or neck can make the look much more sophisticated. I was fascinated by the power of jewelry, and that's what led to the creation of the brand.
I couldn't find any jewelry that I really wanted, so I decided to try making it myself and began to pursue my original love of making things.
AROM. was born in Milan.
While walking the streets of Milan for fashion magazine shoots, one thing left a lasting impression: the way people styled their jewelry. Even the simplest outfits were elevated with a single piece—on the ear, around the neck. That small yet powerful presence of jewelry was what sparked the beginning of AROM.
Unable to find pieces that truly felt “right,” the designer turned to creating jewelry from scratch, drawing on a long-standing love for making things by hand.
PHILOSOPHY
The careful craftsmanship he witnessed at the workshops he visited in Italy, the inspiration he received from the aesthetic beauty of products and fashion, and his experiences in South America during his teenage years.
Based on the sensibility that he has cultivated through this background, which transcends countries and genres, he pursues clean, architectural designs.
All elements of the jewelry are considered to be part of the design, and are designed as a whole, including clasps and catches.
Rather than relying on ready-made parts, we aim to achieve both beauty and functionality by combining 3D modeling design with traditional handwork by Japanese craftsmen.
All manufacturing is carried out in Japan, and protecting Japanese craftsmanship and honest working conditions is also an important mission of the brand.
And as a sign of respect for Italy, where the brand has spent a long time, the brand subtly incorporates the charm of its jewelry culture.
Jewelry that blends naturally into fashion and can sometimes be the focal point of an outfit.
I hope you will enjoy it freely as part of your style.
The brand is shaped by diverse experiences: the meticulous handwork of Italian artisans observed in local workshops, the refined aesthetics of product and fashion design, and formative years spent in South America. These influences come together to inspire a clean, structured approach that transcends borders and disciplines.
At AROM., every element of a piece—including clasps and earring backs—is designed as an integral part of the whole. Rather than relying on off-the-shelf parts, we combine advanced 3D modeling with the traditional craftsmanship of Japanese artisans to achieve both beauty and function.
All production takes place in Japan, reflecting our commitment to preserving skilled local craftsmanship and ensuring ethical working conditions. At the same time, our pieces quietly carry the spirit of Italy's rich jewelry culture—a place that continues to inspire us.
We create jewelry that blends naturally with fashion, yet can stand out as the statement piece of an outfit.
It's our hope that each piece becomes a part of your personal style—something to wear freely, and to enjoy for a long time.
