How to wear ear cuffs

イヤーカフの着け方まとめ

The number of brands they carry is increasing every year, and ear cuffs have become a well-established jewelry item.
One of the charms of these jewelry is that there are many ways to enjoy them, such as changing the position where you wear them, changing the direction, or layering them.

In the past, many people would get confused about how to put on the products when trying them on, but recently it seems that the number of people who can put them on with ease has increased significantly.

How to wear an ear cuff

Everyone seems to have their own way of wearing them, but at AROM. we have always recommended inserting them from the top of the ear.

If you touch your own ears, you will notice that the area from the side of the ear diagonally downwards where the ear cuff is worn has cartilage and is hard. The area towards the top of the ear is thinner and softer than the rest of the ear, so even if you pinch it with force, it will feel less pain than other areas.

Inserting the ear cuff through this part will cause the least pain and you won't have to worry about the ear cuff opening up.
At this point, it might be a good idea to imagine it higher than you think it is.

Basic application

After inserting the ear cuff into the top of your ear, slide it down along the recess of your ear until you find the position you want to wear it in. When doing so, make sure to place it so that it hooks onto the inside of the cartilage on the side of your ear. If you place it on the outside of the cartilage, it will fall off easily.

How to remove ear cuffs

When removing them, do the opposite of how you put them on: slide them up your ear and remove them when they are in the inserted position.
Many people try to force it out of its position, but removing it in an area where the cartilage is thick can be painful and can cause the ear cuff to spread.

Silver ear cuffs in particular are soft and easily deformed when force is applied.

When you first use the earphones, you can adjust them slightly to suit the thickness of your ears, but please note that repeatedly narrowing and widening the earphones each time you wear them may cause metal fatigue and breakage.

How to wear a clip-on ear cuff

Well, the above is the basic way to wear a regular ear cuff, but Arrom also has a type that clips onto the inside of the ear cuff.

This product has slightly different specifications, so it may take some time to get used to it.

Insert the ear clip so that it pinches your ear and secures it so that the slit fits into the recess of your ear. Make sure to insert it from the top of your ear.
It may be difficult to understand if explained in text, so I think it will be easier to understand if you watch the video below.

This type of ear cuff fits snugly around the ear, so it stays on the ear more firmly than regular ear cuffs and is less likely to fall off.

Hands feel the sensation

Ear cuffs may be difficult to put on at first, but you will soon be able to put them on and take them off unconsciously.
The trick is to get a feel for your hands without looking in the mirror.
When I look in the mirror, I always end up moving my hands in the opposite direction.

Your ears may turn bright red at first, but don't give up and keep trying, thinking of it as pressing a good acupressure point on your ear.
Some products also have videos on how to wear them on their product detail pages, so please check those out as well.
