What if the reason some jewelry instantly brightens your face is actually its "shape"?
The new "incurvare" earrings are a collection named after the Italian word for "to curve" or "to arc." The softly curved metal discs gather ambient light like a reflector board, gently illuminating the area around your face.
This play of light is unique to curved surfaces, unlike flat ones.
Even the back view is carefully considered
What we paid particular attention to with these earrings was the design of the catch (fastener).
The disc-shaped catch, which curves like the front surface, is designed to gently sandwich the earlobe between the front and back arcs.
Whether viewed from the side or from behind, the two arcs harmonize beautifully. Even when you wear your hair up or have short hair, the design presents a complete look from every angle.
If you choose a larger catch, the arc peeking out from behind the earlobe becomes visible, adding a distinctive accent. The look changes depending on how you wear them.
Screw-on design for all-day comfort
The fastening method uses a screw-on system that secures by twisting the screw.
This method is widely used in South America and Europe, but it may not be as familiar in Japan.
It might take a little practice to get used to it, but once you do, it's very comfortable. Instead of pressing down on the earlobe with the catch, it feels like it gently cradles the earlobe, providing a comfortable, pressure-free fit similar to wearing hoop earrings.
Create your own combinations
A distinctive feature of incurvare is the freedom to enjoy combining finishes, colors, and sizes.
Mirror finish × matte finish
Gold front × silver catch
Large front × small catch, or vice versa
By creating different expressions between the front and back, a single earring gains a much more complex depth.
There is no right answer; find your own combinations to match your mood and outfit.
Variations are available in silver, gold, and bicolor, as well as mirror and matte finishes.
